URI's Research and Development team is continuously involved in the development of new process' and product's and forms partnerships with its customers to ensure that they obtain products with consistent quality and revolutionary performance, the necessary technical assistance in support of their most important applications to meet their most challenging needs.
With many years of top level engineering expertise, URI's team continues to pioneer technology development in its manufacturing plants to deliver the quality and products that customers require in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner. URI uses proven revolutionary process technology on mixing, calendaring, moulding, extrusion, Hose building and vulcanization and technology and automation is at par with International Standards.
Our product design and development team is leading the effort in ensuring that customers have all of their product based technical needs met, including quality, performance and new products. The approach enables us to work on the present complex development process covering all aspects of design from material , process , quality and economics and it is laying the foundation for ease of manufacturing and trouble free supply of quality products to URI's esteemed customers. We bring together our in-house expertise in various areas of product and process technology at the early stage of product design right through to the final stages of product validation with all our end customers. Our product design and development does not only play a critical role in realizing the full potential of a product, but also creates a cost effective design solution while taking up product design activities through close associations with OEM design teams. We use various design tools like Auto CAD, Catia, Pro-Engg. , ABAQUS FEA analysis for design validation, manufacturing process, product performance & reliability optimization and design compounds to fulfill the most sought requirements of regulatory and safety norms as well as various high performance related parameters.
Our goal is to leverage URI's research and development capabilities to generate distinction of value though product improvement, new product development and innovative ways of cost reduction by upgrading and maintaining a technological edge through continuous improvement and adopting latest technologies.
